PRINT CONTENT STANDARDS

Separately from who our customers are, we make independent decisions about **what we produce**, based on the content itself. We decline to print material that we reasonably believe is:

- Discriminatory or vilifying toward any group, including on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, religion, or age
- Inflammatory, hateful, or intended to demean or target a particular group
- Defamatory, threatening, or likely to incite harm or violence
- Otherwise unlawful under Australian Commonwealth, state or territory law

This standard is applied consistently to every job that comes through our business, regardless of who submits it or what their personal views are. It is a judgement about the artwork and message - never about the customer.

Why we do this

We believe a print and merchandise business has a right, like any business, to choose what it puts into the world. Declining a specific job on content grounds is not a comment on the person requesting it. It simply means that particular piece of content isn't something we're willing to produce.

Questions or concerns

If you've had an order declined under this policy and would like to understand our reasoning, or discuss an alternative design, please contact us at kenneth@24hourmerchandise.com.au we're happy to talk it through.
